Setting up the Trace Layer display

As well as converting formats, you can also alter the drawings' darkness, and clean them up. For example, you can remove dirt on the paper, such as smudges or fingerprints, which will otherwise cause trouble for the painters.

This is done by setting two values that alter how the scanned bitmap in the Trace Layer is displayed and output. It doesn't alter the scanned data itself.

Setting these values takes effect immediately. You can alter them at any stage of your production, without losing any other work you've done, such as inking and painting. However, it's most efficient to set them correctly at the same time as you create the level's regions.

See Adjusting the Trace Layer values.
